A panel name is not a full method description.
Ibogaine is not necessarily a routine target in common screening panels. Whether an analyte is sought depends on the ordered test, specimen, laboratory workflow, cutoff, and confirmation approach. The central question is therefore not simply whether a test exists, but what that particular test was designed to detect.
Our main testing overview begins with this distinction and keeps the focus on panel scope rather than assumptions. It also separates discussion of ibogaine from noribogaine, a metabolite that may be relevant to a specialized analytical question.
For foundational terminology, the general concept of drug testing helps distinguish screening from confirmatory analysis; it does not establish what any one laboratory includes.
